Ray and I both have jobs in town and live on a small acreage in the Goodhue, MN area.
Goodhue is located 50 miles southeast of Minneapolis/St. Paul and one hour from the Minneapolis International Airport.
We have had full size Aussies for many years and have admired their versitility, intelligence and loyalty to the family. Ray and I saw these same traits in the Toy Aussies.
I have always wanted a Mini Aussie until friends of ours bought a Toy Aussie, I told Ray that I am going to have one of those some day. Our friends received an email from Ruth Vanderhoof stating she had a 2 year old Show quality Toy female for sale. I showed Ray a picture of MR. PICKLE herding sheep from Ruth's website and he was sold. We also raise and compete with Registered Quarter Horses bred for cutting and understand how important conformation and instinct is in an athlete. We saw this in MR. PICKLE. We believe that the Zena/Mr. Pickle cross is producing athletic, instinctive quality Toy Aussies and are excited about our new breeding program that we are starting.
With a lot of reading, studying and guidance from Ruth Vanderhoof we now have 3 females, our own stud dog, and I have taken one of the pups that we decided to keep to it's PUPPY INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE at it's first show!
People say, having Toy Aussies is like eating potato chips, you can't have just ONE!!
